Biography
Mr. Pierre-R. Wolff, in charge of investments in North America for Coinsilium, a London-based FinTech company, facilitating the creation and mainstream implementation of blockchain technology products and services. Pierre is an experienced tech entrepreneur, executive and C-level advisor under Cupla Group, to numerous startups and large financial institutions exploring the FinTech ecosystem. With his extensive network of contacts among VCs, startups, and large institutions Pierre has facilitated numerous business transactions including investments, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
Pierre has spent over 20 years working as a business and corporate development professional, starting with Reuters NewMedia in 1994 exploring business opportunities for Reuters on the Internet, meeting many of the pioneers who are now household names. He later joined First Virtual Holdings, the first Internet payment system that went public in December of 1996. Since 1998, Pierre has been on the management team of several venture funded companies (including Impulse! Buy Network (transactional ad network acquired by Inktomi), Revere Data (financial information service acquired by Factset), Impermium (social content classification tech acquired by Google)), where he led all business and corporate development activities. In addition to FinTech he has worked for companies involved in social media, e-commerce, content management and classification technologies, and AdTech. Pierre received his MBA from EDHEC Business School in Nice, France, and conducted his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
